Mark Calaway has said about his shock at the fall, fears of killing Mick. Well the only footage of him really showing it was on the WWF Eve of Destruction program, a pre millennium New Years special. When Mick got off the gurney and ran to climb back up we get a shot of Taker. He is legitimately shocked. No acting, no keyfabe, Mark could not remain in character and could not believe Mick was not only able to get up but he wanted to keep the match going.


Mark's quick recovery after the second fall, where he attacked Funk to get at Foley, this was his quick thinking to remain in character while trying to convince him to end the match, quietly telling Mick to just go home, and Mark tried to buy him more time to recover. The first fall, he was legitimately too shocked and may be something you will never see again, the moment being edited out and buried.

If I recall, the reason Vince reappeared so quickly after supposedly dying in the cr explosion was because of the Benoit family tragedy. The original intent was to bring in the real-life brother of Vince McMahon, Roderick McMahon. According to Screen Rant anyway. I do know for sure that Vince abandoned the death story due to the Benoit tragedy, not just "because wrestling is dumb" as you put it.


As for Owen Hart, pretty sure there is some legality issues behind that one. Namely that any time Owen's name or likeness shows up in any WWE property she files a lawsuit. If you wanna blame someone for the WWE's lack of acknowledgement of Owen's career, you'll have to blame his widow for that one pal.


All of this stuff I learned with a simply internet search, question is why couldn't you.
